*Note: This docking station can be used without the optional GPS antenna, but without the optional GPS antenna, the straight-line distance and bearing of other PTT callers will not be displayed on the docked Iridium Extreme PTT handset. All other Iridium Push-to-Talk functionalities will work normally. This is an advantage over the which always requires a GPS antenna to support Iridium Push-to-Talk communications.
